  1. Maternity Photo Suggestions

I'm not sure if this would be the right place to post this- but here it goes. I was contacted about doing a maternity session for a woman in my area that is carrying to term. I'm wondering if there are any mommies of angels on that have received maternity sessions and if there was anything in...

  2. Carrying to Term

Hello, My name is Marlina and I am carrying to term. It has been a long and tough road. I found out at 4 1/2 months that some thing was wrong with my little one. I'm only 27 and could not understand why this had happened to me. My baby boy has trisomy 18 and even though the doctors and nurses...

  3. Support group for those with no l/c

I tend to AVOID any loss boards because of the added pain of no living children to show for pregnancy(ies). It is a different journey............... I found a group called http://www.alivealone.org which is for those whose only child(ren) are deceased.

  5. New member, 2nd loss with no l/c

I'll try to keep this short.... :D Our son was stillborn w/o warning 12/12/04 @ 26 weeks. I turned 36 2 weeks later. I'd been in distress for nearly a week but our lovely insurance @ the time (Kaiser in Stockton, CA) blew off my calls until I was in active labor and he'd been gone for a week....

  11. I am carrying to term

I am 33 weeks along today. I have no doubt I am doing the right thing by carrying to term, but recent days have been hard. My son has been diagnosed with Trisomy 18. He has a severe heart defect, so the drs. don't think he will live long if he is born live. He may die in utero at any time. ...

  12. Purpose for carrying to term

I was called to a local children's hospice to take photos of a 5 year old boy terminally ill with a brain stem glioma. His mother is 5 1/2 months pregnant with an anencephalic baby; her purpose in carrying the baby to 38 weeks is so she can donate the baby's organs. Her husband is full-time...

  14. What to expect with a c-section

Hi Everyone, I went to my check-up at the doctor last Thursday (33 weeks with a baby with potters sequence) and we discussed scheduling an induction on September 23. After looking at the ultrasound, he told me the baby was breech and was unlikely to turn around, so we should prepare for a...

I've posted several times about my best friend who is pregnant and her daughter has been diagnosed with Trisomy 18. She's 27 weeks pregnant. Her doctors have told her the baby won't survive and haven't provided any additional information on the possibilities that may occur. She's been instructed...

  16. I carried to term

My daughter was diagnosed with renal agenesis, or Potter's Syndrome when I was 25 1/2 weeks gestation. This condition is incompatible with life. We carried the baby to term, one of the most difficult things we have done, but also rewarding. We delivered our daughter on December 26th, 2007. I...

A very dear friend of mine (whom I'd lost touch with for about three years) found me yesterday via email and when I asked how he was doing, he told me that he and his wife are expecting, but that there are complications and that the baby will not survive after the c-section that is planned for some...
